Chunk of the week

Term 4, Week 5  ook is for chook. We screen printed chooks.

Week 4    ike for bike so we had a bike day.

Week 3  cl  is for clay. We made divas for diwali out of clay.

Term 4, Week 2  and is for grandparents.
We had a fabulous time when our grandparents visited on Grandparents day.

Week 7  an was our chunk and we made a Gingerbread Man each.

 First we rolled the dough.

 We cooked them carefully in the oven. Luckily none escaped!
Then we iced them and decorated them.

And then we ate them, Yummy!

Week 5
Our chunk this week was ing so we read a story about a king.

The King had a hole in his sock so the Queen shoowed him how to knit and he knitted himself some socks. We wrote to the King to see if he could knit us something.
Look what we got!

A parcel from the king, and inside was a letter , 2 hats, and a scarf.

 We had fun trying them on.

 

Thanks King, we love our scarf and hats.

Week 4, 
at is for cats, fat cats, fat cats that sat on a mat, and we painted them.

Week 3, Term 3
cl is for clowns, we became clowns.
 We made clown hats and painted our faces.

 Room 16 clowns!

Week 2, Term 3
fl is for flags. We made a Room 16 flag with a buddy in the class.

Week 1, Term 3
Our chunk this week is gr, gr for green, so for 100 day Mrs Bloomfield brought in 100 green M+Ms.

We got to share them. There are 20 of us in Room 16 so we had to work out how many we would get each. 20 X 5 = 100, so we got 5 green M+Ms each.

Week 11     ch is for chain. We made a chain in black and yellow because everyone was wearing yellow and black to support the Hurricanes in the final of the Super 15 rugby.

 Go the Hurricanes!!!!!

Week 10     br is for bracelets. We made loom band bracelets.

Week 9     sh is  our chunk this week, so we got a new game Sh Bingo.

Term 2, Week 8
Fr is for frames, we made photo frames, and we made our own

They are pretty cool but not as cool as the kids in the photos!
